What is the Cancellation Policy for Events at the Event Centre in London?

If you're planning to attend an event at the Event Centre in London, it's essential to understand the cancellation policy. All cancellations and amendments must be confirmed in writing. The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has a specific event cancellation policy and privacy policy for physical, digital and hybrid events and conferences. Your presence at an event may mean that you appear in photographs, and you are assumed not to object to such photographs being taken.

Substitutes can be made at any time, provided that the substitute attendee meets the eligibility criteria applicable to the corresponding event. The RCP reserves the right to cancel the event at its sole discretion, in which case the reservation will be fully refunded. If you attend an event that has been co-organized with another organization, your name, position, speciality, trust, and email may be shared with joint members. If you don't want to be included in any photographs, please notify the RMS representative at the appropriate event before taking the pictures. Places at each event are allocated in order of receipt of reservations. The information you provide on this booking form will be saved by the RCP and will be used to shape future events and to inform you about other RCP events and services.

Before completing the course, you will receive a CPD certificate by speaking with the RMS representatives at the event or by sending an email to the event organizer. All hybrid events will be available on demand (OD) for a minimum of 30 days after the event so you can get the CPD (if applicable). All additional charges incurred on the actual date of the event MUST be paid in full by credit card at the end of the event, and it is the responsibility of the event director representing the customer to ensure that a valid card is available. Virtual events usually have a much shorter time frame between when the reservation is opened and when the event is held. All digital events will be available on demand (OD) for a minimum of 30 days after the event so you can get the CPD (if applicable). The RCP also reserves the right to cancel an event at its sole discretion, in which case any reservations will be fully refunded.
